Read the answer...Open Question: I think, No I'm positive my dad is cheating on my mom, What should I do ?
Well to start off please don't give me the it's none of your business, it's between your parents, leave it alone answers, because it obviously is my business if my father is willing to bring another women into our life it is obviously my business. Ok so I'm 16 and I have a 7 year old sister. For as long as I can remember my parents have always been unhappy or arguing, they don't ever see eye to eye. My father moving out of the house has become a regular thing, he always comes back a month or so after. Me and my sister have learned to not let this bother us. Past November I ran into some trouble with the law because of my bad friend choosing abilities (high school freshmen hanging out with seniors) this caused a great strain in my mothers and fathers relationship, or what was one. My father moved out in November and it's the beginning of July and he hasn't come back home although he still spends nights over, both my parents act the same as if they were living together, they're so hardheaded that they won't forgive each other. I've taken full responsibilities for my actions and I know I played a major part on this situation. Well here are some reasons I believe my dad is cheating : 1. Lately (as in 2 months) my dad has begun to take an interest in me and my sister he takes us shopping takes us to the movies, basically anywhere we want to go with no if's, ands or but's. He only does this the first few weeks he leaves the house to try and cheer us up. 2. He's changed the way he dresses and looks, he spends more time getting ready and buying expensive clothes (believe me my dad is the most FRUGAL man in the world) 3. A few days ago I went on one of these "shopping sprees" with my dad and sister and I noticed how protective he was of his blackberry. Every time I asked to use it he would click some buttons and clearly tell me not to look into his personal stuff. 4. That same day he received a call and began talking Spanish which he barely ever does unless it's with my mom, which it wasn't because I know my mom's voice, he also spoke really quite as if not wanting us to hear. I was able to hear a few snippets of what he said which included a lot of "mhmmm" and "so your staying home tonight". 5. Whenever me or my mom call my dad late at night (9-10 pm) he never picks up his company phone is off and his personal phone just rings and rings. 6. He recently let us know that he was now working over-night on call which is rare because I remember him doing that the first year he began working with the company, which he explained to us then that when you start out in the company that's the first thing they make you do and that was 5 years ago, so that's odd that they'd put someone with such high rank "over-night". 7. He once asked me and my sister half-joking if we would mind if he had a girlfriend my little sister took it as a joke and laughed it off, me ? not so much. 8. On another occasion the same woman that I heard him speak to on the phone, called him. They spoke for a few minutes and he was like I'm with my daughters, a few minutes later he got a few text messages that he promptly deleted. An hour later I asked for his phone and checked his recent calls "Carolina" was on it a few times not an alarming number of times but still made me suspicious. Coincidently I recognized "Carolina's" phone number being dialed with the *67 (used to make a private call) this freaked me out because well on of the main reason people use *67 is to find out what people are doing, specifically people you care about i.e. boyfriends, girlfriend, spouses. 9. AND MOST IMPORTANT - tonight at around 11 pm me my sister and my mom got home and as we had promised my dad we called him as soon as we got here. The phone kept on ringing and no one picked up and when my mom finally got an answer there was something not right, I kept on hearing my mom saying, who are you with, why can't you talk, why are you talking so low, my dad was answering her with these lame excuses such as I'm working, at a house, the customer will hear me (which made no sense cause "over-night on call's" are usually commercial calls). My mom finally hung up and said nothing more. I might be over-reacting but I have a gut feeling I'm right. I don't want to be right but if I am I can't just keep this to myself forever it's hurting me way too much I spoke to my eldest cousin who went through this when she was 13 she said to speak to my dad she also said that I have to realize that it's been 8 months since my dad has been home, me and my mother let him go alone for to long these might be some of the consequences that come with it. I honestly don't know what to do, this is taking a toll on me I feel like it's all my fault and I fear I can't do anything to fix this. I need someone to help me make the right choice whichever it may be.

Alcohol and Government Policy In the UK, the National Health Service often has to deal with the consequences of drinking alcohol. It is said that there is less trouble in other countries which have more relaxed licensing laws. In the UK, accidents caused by drinking alcohol result in 150 000 hospital admissions every year. Time taken dealing with these admissions prevents other treatment. There are about 22 000 deaths linked to alcohol-related illnesses every year. There are also other consequences. Very many working days are lost each year because of alcohol abuse which, it is estimated, cost the employers £6.4 million in lost production. There is also the cost of policing the city centres particularly at night and at weekends when excessive drinking causes riotous behaviour. It is argued that while police are controlling this behaviour it leaves property more vulnerable to burglary. Property owners, as a result, may have to pay extra insurance premiums and protect their property by paying for burglar alarms to be fitted. Then there are legal costs. If people are prosecuted for drink-related offences it involves court costs, lawyers’ costs and costs for the witnesses to attend court. There are also the costs of establishing centres that treat people who drink excessively and the costs of social workers who care for those who are victims of drink-related incidents. One of the difficulties of trying to calculate the cost of alcohol use is how to estimate figures such as those above. How do we measure the cost of police time? How do we measure the costs of an emotional upset when someone is injured by a drink-related driving accident? How do we measure the effect of violence in the home caused by excessive drinking? Yet there are benefits from alcohol. People gain pleasure from drinking: it is a social activity. Some alcohol is said to give health benefits. The government places a tax on alcohol and gains a large amount of revenue as a result. Many people are employed in the manufacture and distribution of drinks. Others are employed in clubs and bars that serve alcohol. (a) (i) Define opportunity cost. (ii) Identify and explain one example of opportunity cost from the above extract. (b) You are asked to investigate the economic arguments for and against a ban on the sale and consumption of alcohol. Discuss how helpful you would find the above extract and what further information you would seek. (c) The government decides not to introduce a ban on alcohol. Instead it considers either raising the existing indirect tax on alcohol or banning the advertising of alcohol. Discuss which of these two approaches you would favour.

I posted this yesterday but, i am posting it again. "Bury Stray Cats" (In Suffolk) England. This wonderful organisation helps to take in and care for sick/un wanted or abused cats. I help these people out sometimes, i have rescued many cats before & if i could i would spend my whole life helping animals. Unfortunatly & very sadly, this centre cannot afford to take in any more cats, they have no money & no spare living areas. They arn't able to re home them fast enough to save others, because people arn't aware of this serious matter. This is only one santuary that does this, all over the world animals are left, forgotten, because us humans, we take them for granted, we treat them like dirt, fortunatly there is something we can do, instead of running of to a pet store & buying a cat, or any type of animal, stop and think, could i rescue one from an centre like this one? Think to yourself, do i really want to risk a homeless cats life by not re homing one thats already there? Could i donate a little amount of money to provide care for a cat, with a £10 cheque? STOP.AND.THINK : i could be helping the world & all others around me. Animals arn't just for a few days, there for a lifetime. Take action now, before there is nothing we can do. - if you have any ideas, on how i can express this matter futher, please contact me on my MSN at: ambervale@hotmail.co.uk many thanks.
Read the answer...Open Question: what do you think of my story and be nice please as everyones an author as of late in critiquing our works?
i was met up with the pale rider on that horse which was called death.i saw him before but he didnt need me then.but now im thrusted into the belief that hes come back for me again. i eluded him twice before but now i can no longer run.his eyes and mine both met.we both stared in to into each others eyes.the seconds seemed like hours and finally i asked him why he came today. he grinned and said im asking you to come to the saloon with me as he started riding off.i went with him but hesitantly as if to wonder what it was he was needing to show me. he took me up on his horse as the evening gathered and in his twinkling eye announced he was not taking from me but giving me something.we walked to the oasis called the 2 shot tavern and sat down.he got me a beer but i wouldnt drink it. i was too nervous about what lied ahead.was it a peril i didnt want to meet or was it some other odd event.either way he was making me feel at home and this wasnt the case last time i felt dread and fear. nope, this time was different though.so i walked away from my stool and headed onto the trail he showed me as it seemed to glow.it had the makings of a road back in the day.. well i rode with him as his dirty blonde hair swayed back and forth in the cool summer breeze.i felt a strangers gentle touch on my shoulder as we stopped.it was my father who had a smile on his face. hi son youre home he said.i told him i was just visiting but he wouldnt allow me to leave.we embarked on all of the things we did when he was alive like eat hot dogs, drink beer, soda, eat cotton candy, smoke cigarettes and shoot pool. he told me to go and look under my pillow and i didnt understand why.just then he hugged me goodbye and the horseman took me back on his horse.smiling he said ok,thats your dad and he has sent me to you. i came here for a much different reason this time around.at that precise moment of elation in seeing my beloved dad i wasnt sure if it was real.the alarm rang on my clock and i now realized i had dreampt this wonderfully vivid reunion as if id been in a time machine. my only thought now was hes with me in spirit and what about the pillow?,what did he mean by that?i raised it up and there glimmering in the light was the gold wedding ring he wore but was missing for a year. he died and it was put in a jewelry box and put aside.while looking for the ring 1 day i couldnt find it.it simply vanished.so he must have came looking for it as a reminder of what once was and what still is.but its only a physical object desired in the spirit world.it was borrowed when it shouldve been kept.i dont know who needed it more,us or him! i told my mom this and she knew hed paid a visit.the next step is for her to experience the mystery that was his life.i think so dutifully it will be her turn next.i can only envision that occurrence and ill not dread at the thought of the next chapter with the ghostly rider.
